You will NOT score 100% on this quiz. Betcha.
I don't even know where to begin with the vapid ignorance of the people who buy designer doodle schnoodle teacup whatever dogs for huge sums of money. Not to mention the greed and cruelty of those who sell them.
So, I won't. I'm tired and don't have the energy right now.
Just take this quick little pop quiz.
(I scored 71%.)
Oh - and if you have paid money for a "designer dog" - or are considering it, you are an idiot. Sorry.

what i don't get is that they buy and then decide they don't want it anymore. really boils my blood.
I am passionate about animals also and love your site! Take a look at mine, perhaps we could link! www.addisondanes.blogspot.com
chana
I scored a 42%.
I like this post...I have thought the same thing on this topic; I can't believe how retarded some people can be for giving in to pulling out the big bucks for a "designer breed" when there are plenty of adorable little mutts (likely of the exact type they're paying for anyway) waiting to be adopted.
Atlas - I found and saved your blog a little while back, I think it's great! I'm so non-techie I haven't figured out how to add a list of favorite blogs to mine, yet. Need to sit down and do that.
Ariadnek, no kidding. You can buy a pet quality poodle or Yorkie from CH, health tested parents, titled, from a good breeder for, say $500. Or you can pay $1500 for a "Yorkiepoo" or some such nonsense from someone who churns them out for profit from untested parents - OR you can find cute mixes on Petfinder for a fraction of a cost and save a life too! I don't get it.
AMEN! They can get the same designer dog at the pound, and actually help an animal in need. The whole business of designer dogs infuriates me. And unfortunately, the breed that I love, the poodle, is at the center of this nonsense.
I got 71%, too. Yay!
Designer dogs have been around forever. My mom had a 'Kaka-poo' (my name for the vicious beast, she didn't like me) when I was born. That was 43 years ago.
My designer dog is a RatChi... ChiRat...? whatever - and was a rescue after his owner - who should NEVER had gotten a TERRIER of any kind - crated him instead of socializing him. Yeesh. We are still working on it, two years out.
